House Bill to bar ACLU from collecting tax dollars
There is a bill (HR2679; Indiana Congressman John Hostettler) being proposed to prohibit groups such as the ACLU (anti-christian lawyers union?) from collecting tax money for attorney's fees on "Establishment" lawsuits such as removing crosses from public land. The American Legion is backing this effort. Doesn't seem too unreasonable, why should the taxpayers give $800,000 to the ACLU?
